Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster Specifications
- Poster must be in landscape orientation and should not exceed the dimensions of 1,900 mm (W) × 1,100 mm (H) to fit within the designated poster board.
- The minimum recommended size is 1,100 mm (W) × 900 mm (H) to ensure visibility and effective communication with attendees.
- Each abstract is assigned a poster number based on its category. If your abstract is accepted, you will find your poster number via My Page on the KSBNS 2025 website.
- Please refer to the poster presentation schedule below for poster display, presenter attendance, posting, and removal times.
Poster Session Schedule
Important Instructions
- All presenters must install their posters on their assigned poster board by the end of the posting time. Ensure the poster number matches the number displayed on
the top corner of the poster board.
- Stickers will be provided on each poster board. You will not be allowed to use any other materials such as tape, glue, staples or anything else other than the
given material.
- Posters must remain displayed until the end of the assigned poster session and must be removed during the removal time of each poster session. Any materials
left on the poster board at the end of the session will be discarded. The secretariat will not be responsible for anything left at the end of the conference.
Presenter Attendance
- Presenters must be present at their display during the presenter’s presence time assigned for each poster session.
- Presenters are expected to:
- Discuss their research with attendees,
- Engage in academic exchange with fellow researchers, and
- Participate in networking opportunities within their fie
- Presenters may stay longer, but are required to be present during their assigned presenter presence time.
KSBNS Outstanding Poster Awards
- Poster presentations that applied for the KSBNS Outstanding Poster Awards and were selected through on-site assessment will be evaluated by judges.
- Judges will review the posters at their discretion and engage with presenters during the scheduled presentation time.
- The criteria for assessment are as follows:
- Research content: overall scientific quality, potential impacts of the research, creative approaches
- Visual appeal: attractive graphics, appropriate font size, print quality, logical flow of the information
- Impression of presentation: concise and clear presentation, ability to interact with the viewers
- Awardees will receive certificates and cash prizes, presented on August 27 (Wednesday), 15:30–16:00 during the Closing Ceremony. Recipients must be present at the ceremony to receive their award. The number of awardees may vary at the discretion of the Scientific Program Committee.
Oral Presentation Guidelines
Eligibility
- Oral presentations are limited to abstracts selected for the following:
- Scitech Korea Best Oral Presentation Awards
- IBRO Travel Awards
- These presentations will be scheduled as short talks within symposium sessions.
Presentation Details
- Presenters will be notified of their assigned symposium session and presentation order through the final symposium program.
- Each oral presentation is 10 minutes long, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session.
- Presentations must be given in English.
- Slides should be prepared in 16:9 (widescreen) format to ensure optimal display.
Preparation
- Presenters must visit the Preview Room at least 30 minutes before their session begins to upload their presentation files.
- Presentations must be uploaded to the shared laptop system to allow for smooth transitions between speakers.
- Use of personal laptops is not permitted.
Important Notice
- There will be an Award Ceremony for all recipients of the Scitech Korea Best Oral Presentation Awards and IBRO Travel Awards on August 27 (Wednesday), 15:30–16:00 during the Closing Ceremony. You are required to attend in order to receive your certificate.
- Note that if you cancel your presentation after being selected, both the award and the cash prize will be revoked.
- Such cancellations may also affect your eligibility for future participation or recognition at KSBNS events.
